How to add the reconnAI MCP connector to Claude Desktop
The reconnAI connector lets you access your brand visibility data directly inside Claude. Once connected, you can ask Claude to generate reports, compare platforms, and analyse citation trends — all without leaving the conversation.

How to enable reconnAI in a conversation and run your first report
Once the reconnAI connector is added to Claude Desktop, you can enable it in any conversation and start asking questions about your brand data. Here's how.

Watch the demo below to see the full flow — enabling reconnAI from the chat input and generating a visibility report.
Live demo
1
Click the + button in the chat input
Start a new conversation and click the + icon at the bottom left. A panel will appear showing your available connectors.
2
Toggle reconnAI on
Find reconnAI in the list and click the toggle to enable it. The connector stays active for this conversation only.
3
Ask Claude about your brand
Type any question about your brand visibility — for example: "Generate a visibility report for my brand" or "Which platforms cite us most this week?"
💡
You need to enable the connector each time you start a new conversation. Claude does not enable connectors automatically.
Example prompts to try
Here are some prompts that work well with the reconnAI connector:
"Generate a visibility report for [your brand]"
"Which AI platforms mention us most frequently?"
"Compare our citation volume this week vs last week"
