Microsoft 365 Copilot now supports more natural language triage actions in Outlook, including deleting, moving, copying, categorizing messages, and managing inbox rules and folders with confirmation prompts for bulk or mailbox changes.
Details:
What changed:
Building on existing triage commands like pin and flag when using Chat with work data in Outlook, users can now delete, move, copy, and categorize emails using natural language. It also supports creating, managing rules, and creating folders. Copilot requests confirmation before acting on more than five emails or making changes to inbox rules. These features work across Classic and New Outlook for Windows, Outlook on the web, Outlook for Mac, and Outlook mobile.
Why:
Expanding triage actions allows users to manage their inbox more efficiently at scale, reducing manual effort and improving email organization.

Business impact:
Teams improve email management efficiency and reduce time spent on repetitive inbox tasks.
