ChatGPT Work and Codex can now use tools that supported websites provide directly in the desktop app’s built-in browser.
Work directly with a website’s tools.ChatGPT can discover tools for your task without a separate connection. Select the arrow in the address bar to see the tools a page provides.
Site tools use WebMCP and require a supported account, model, and webpage. They are available in the built-in desktop browser, not through the Chrome extension. Existing website-access and sensitive-action confirmations still apply.
